Clearwater Beach

Find calm, shallow waters at Clearwater Beach and Turtle Bay. This beach sits on the southeastern coast of Bermuda, near the L.F. Wade International Airport. Visitors rarely visit Clearwater Beach and Turtle Bay, but locals love to visit here on weekends.
These are manmade beaches and were created by the U.S. Naval Army when Cooper’s Island was used as a U.S Naval Air Station. Since 1995, the area has become the Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve, and just inward from the beaches you will find walking trails and a pond that is known to be great for birdwatching.
