John’s Smith’s Bay is a long, flat expanse of pink sand and is great for snorkeling on nearby reefs. Fun fact about John Smith’s Bay: It was named after John Smith, the same man who famously encountered Pocahontas during his occupancy at Jamestown, and who later created the first map of Bermuda. This beach has a convenient parking area, bathrooms and food concession.
